Verse from The Noble Qur'an

And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (God) (i.e. this Qur'an), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah's Favor on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren, and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah (God) makes His Signs (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.

The Noble Qur'an (3: 103)

 

Explanatory Notes

Allah (God) Almighty encourages us to hold fast to the rope of Allah (God) Almighty. this means that a person should take the Noble Qur'an as his reference in everything and that he should not follow the guesswork of those who distort the purity of the message of Allah (God) Almighty to humans. As Allah (God) Almighty stated in the Noble Qur'an (And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allah (God)? Verily! Allah (God) guides not the people who are wrong-doers). This topic shows how some people who follow their desires and guesswork generated so much divisions and weakness among people.

 

O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and good on the earth, and follow not the footsteps of Satan. Verily, he is to you an open enemy

The Noble Qur'an (2: 168)

  

Allah (God) Almighty states that Satan is an open enemy for humans. And since Satan is an enemy for humans thus he wants need, weakness, and harm to befall Muslims. Also it is stated that Satan approaches humans in steps and not all at once. This topic shows how Satan whispers to Muslims across the ages with ideas that engender divisions and hatred among them by matching His voice to the voice a person hears in His head (as if he is thinking to himself with these ideas) and he whispers ideas such as that some people did injustice to Ali may Allah (God) be please with Him, that a certain group is right and all others are in the wrong, etc. (It is noticeable that all of these ideas whispered by the companion devil of people engender hatred and divisions among Muslims)
